Brink Scholtz (19**-). Actress, Director, Playwright.

Biography

She is the daughter of author and artist Ingrid Winterbach.

Training

Studied at Rhodes University Drama Department.

Career

2008-2010 resident director of Ubom! Eastern Cape Drama Company, Grahamstown.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

1999: photographs of Helen Seaman, Sheena Stannard and Brink Scholtz performing Knowing it was a mirage made no difference, choreographed by Juanita Finestone, to be presented at the South African Women's Festival by The First Physical Theatre Company in Durban in August 1999.

Breed, written by Brink Scholtz and the cast and directed by Brink Scholtz, National Arts Festival, 2010 for Ubom! Eastern Cape Drama Company.

She directed Die Sendeling, Spyt, Marat/Sade (a Masters in Directing production, presented by Rhodes, 2005) She acted in The Fall of the House of Usher (as Madeline Usher, 1999), On the Lake (2001), The Swimming Lesson..
