F. Edwards
F. Edwards was a Colour-Sergeant in the North Lincolnshire Regiment of Foot when the Regiment was sent to the Eastern Frontier of the Cape Colony (now the Eastern Province, South Africa) between 1860 and 1862 during the Frontier War. The regiment was based in Grahamstown and Keiskama Hoek. (Modern spelling: Keiskammahoek.)
He held the rank of Colour-Sergeant when he arrived in the Cape Colony.
Colour-Sergeant F. Edwards acted in four productions during his stay in the Eastern Frontier.
F. Edwards was a member of the Dramatic Club, and performed twice with the Officers of the Regiment and twice with the Sergeants Dramatic Club.
