Le Nouveau Signeur du Village is a French opéra-comique in one act by "MM...", with music by François Adrien Boieldieu.

"MM..." represented Auguste (pseud. for the baron Auguste François Creuzé de Lesser) and baron Jean François Roger. In some editions the name of M. de Favières (Edmé-Guillaume-François de Favières) is also added to the list of authors.

First performed in Paris at the Théâtre Royal del Opéra-Comique by Les Comédiens ordinaires du Roi on 29 June, 1813. Published in Paris by J.N. Barba, 1815, printed by François Hocquet.

Translated into Dutch as De Nieuwe Landheer, of De Gewaande Marquis, a comedy with music ("blijspel met muziek") by Martinus Gerardus Engelman. First published in Amsterdam by Van Kesteren in 1819.
