Arthur de Beaumont, or De Franctireur van Neufville ("Arthur de Beaumont, The irregular soldier of Neufville") is a drama in three acts by A.A. Van der Stempel Jr()[].

Set in the Franco-German war of 18**, it is most probably a translation from a French original.

A performance in Leiden by De Leidse Tabakwerkersvereniging on 25 January, 1898 is recorded in the Leidsch Dagblad of 29 January, 1896.


1874: Performed as Arthur de Beaumont, of De Franctireur van Neufvilleby Aurora II in the Oddfellows Hall, Cape Town on 1 September, with Een Misverstand (ascribed to Faddegon).

1875 Performed by Aurora II in the Athenaeum Hall, Cape Town on 25 April, with De Tijdgeest (??).

1875 Performed by Aurora II in the Court Room, Paarl, on 24 November, with De Hoogste Wensch (De Regt).
