She was one of the stars of the PACT Afrikaans company in the 1960-1970s.
After 2000 she spent a total of eight years abroad, teaching at a drama school and attending various drama courses.
She offers a diploma course in drama at Uplands Collgege in Witrivier (2017).

She had a role in the 1974 film Fighter Pilots, 100 meter Leeuloop (2013) and in the television series Orkney Snork nie.
As director she did some plays for the Suid-Afrikaanse Polisie Toneelgeselskap in Pretoria in the early 1970s.
