Awuthunyelwa Gundane (“Married life is unpredictable” – Zulu) is a play by E.M. Damane. Contrasts faithfulness with infidelity in love. It explores the effects of witchcraft as an alternative to divorce as Ben seeks to remove his wife. His wife uses medicine to counter this. Ben commits suicide as a result of mysterious pains in his body. Published by Van Schaik in 1983.
