A. Burnet (17**-18**) was a businessman and possibly also an amateur performer. Also listed as Anth. Burnet.

At his offices at Loop Street 87 in Cape Town he sold tickets performances, including those of De Papegaay (Von Kotzebue) by the new Dutch company Tot Leering en Vermaak (5 March, 1803) and De Elfde Junius, of De Algemeene Betaaldag (Holberg) by the Tot Nut en Vermaak (29 July 1809).

He may have been a relation (father?) of W. Burnet, who acted for C.E. Boniface's society, Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense.
