Butcher is an as yet not clearly identified actor who played the part of Joseph Atkinson, soldier-servant to the character of Jack Meredith, played by Charles Sparrow, in Joseph Albrecht’s film version of H. Seton Merriman’s novel With Edged Tools (1919).
