Sing jy van Bomme (Afrikaans for "If you sing about Bombs") is a 1986 full-length play by Ryk Hattingh - his debut as playwright. Winner of several Vita Awards.

1988: Staged by PACT in the Windybrow Theatre in Johannesburg and the Momentum Theatre in Pretoria, directed by Lucille Gillwald (awarded the Breytenbach Epathalon by DALRO), Johan Malherbe (The Colonel), Anna-Mart van der Merwe, Gys de Villiers, Tertius Meintjes, Annette Engelbrecht, André Odendaal, Natania van Heerden, Siegfried Kitching. Design Nadya Cohen, lighting Jacques Mulder. Gillwald received the Breytenbach Epathalon from DALRO for this).
