(194*-) Teacher, director and voice coach. Born in **, trained at the University of Stellenbosch/Cape Town?*, ****. Taught Afrikaans speech and acting at the University of Cape Town Drama Department from 19**-199*. Made a name for himself as a director with the Afrikaans productions of newly written plays put on for the Kampustoneel Festival by University of Cape Town students in the 1980s. In 1994 he received the Fleur du Cap Lifetime Award for his contribution to the industry.
