Monsieur Victor
(18**-18**) Circus performer and comic actor. Advertised as "Monsieur Victor... eerste Comediant van den Koninklyken Schouwburg Bruxel" ("first comedian of the Royal Theatre, Brussels"). Also referred to as M. Victor or Monsieur Victor.

Married to Madame Victor.
A member of the French Dramatic Artistes who had arrived from Mauritius as part of an Italian Circus led by Signor Severo and Dalle Case in November 1847. In February 1848 a number of the artists broke away to form a company led by Dalle Case. M. Victor is listed as a performer in a number of performances by the Dalle Case Company, inter alia he is documented as having performed under the direction of Dalle Case in De Twee Savoyanen (14 February 1848, with C. Crosset); and The Art of Avoiding to do Military Duty (13th March, 1848).
By March 1848 the company had to close due to financial; difficulties and L. Victor), and two other leading artists (C. Crosset and X. Hus) then formed the Theatre de L'Union in March 1848, but by the end of September the company had disappeared.
