TheSport of My Mad Mother by Ann Jellicoe. A play about the rootless youth in the jungle of the modern city, which marked an important step in the movement initiated by Beckett with Waiting for Godot. Directed by Robert Mohr during the 1961 Student’s Art Festival entitled “Imagination ‘61” and was performed in the "temporary room” on the UCT campus. The production was later invited to Loughborough Student’s Winter Festival in England, in 1962.
