Captain Carvallo is a traditional comedy play told in three acts by Denis Cannan about a philandering young army officer. it opened at the St. James Theatre on 9 August 1950, as the second production under Sir Laurence Olivier's management.
Performance history in South Africa
Leonard Schach directed the play for the Cockpit Players, July 1951 at the Hofmeyr Theatre, starring George Cormack, Dorothy Felbert, John Roberts and Percy Sieff. Décor by Cecil Pym
