Escapade, a play by Scottish playwright, screenwriter and director Roger MacDougall (1910-1993). The Hampden boys are in great trouble at school. The eldest made a blunderbuss and shot the science teacher. Then all three brothers stole a plane from a nearby airfield and have flown to Luxembourg. Published by Heinemann Educational Books Ltd, 1968.

Performance history in South Africa

Directed by Leonard Schach for the Cockpit Players at the Hofmeyr Theatre, October 1956. In the cast: Audrey Freeman, David Tomlinson. Decor Frank Gravess.
