It opened on 24 January 1964 in the Hofmeyr Theatre as CAPAB's first Afrikaans play, directed by Suzanne van Wyk; (tr André P. Brink?*) and toured the Werstern Cape.
In 197* Sandra Prinsloo played Hedda in an Afrikaans PACT production, directed by Francois Swart?*
