Stian Bam

(19**-) Actor. Born in Walvisbaai, where his father and mother were teachers. Studied at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department. Married a jeweller, Truda Serfontein, in 2009.

Stage roles include Romeo and Julia (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, 2005), Slaghuis (Anker, 2006), Die Storm (Shakespeare, 2007), Lang Dagreis na die Nag (2008 – Fleur du Cap Award), Saad (Vleis, Rys & Aartappels, 2008), Babbel (Nicola Hanekom, 2012), . Bos en Die vrou (2012),

Winner of several Fleur du Cap Awards, including Most Promising Student and Best Leading actor.

TV work includes leading roles in the popular soap Sewende Laan, Vallei van die sluiers and Fees van die Ongenooides (Feast of the Uninvited)
