Colin Welland (19*-) Actor and playwright. ** Together with Basil Lord he starred in One for the Pot by Ray Cooney and Tony Hilton. It was staged by the Academy in December of 1967 and directed by Lord. He won a screenwriting Oscar for Chariots of Fire.
