Two Loves and a Life is a drama in four acts by Tom Taylor ( 1817–1880)[1] and Charles Reade (1814-1884)[2].

First performed at the Theatre Royal Adelphi, London, in April, 1854

Published by Richard Bentley, 1854 and Samuel French, 1856.

Performance history in South Africa

1867: Performed by the Le Roy-Duret Company in the Theatre Royal, Cape Town, on 25 and 28 November, with Family Jars (Lunn and Perry), a "Pas Seul" by Miss Clara. The performances under the patronage of the Commander and Officers of the USA sloops Wyoming and Massachusetts.
