Stomp
Stomp is a stage musical by Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell.
The original text
The musical was created in Brighton, United Kingdom in 1991. The performers use a variety of everyday objects (e,g, a combination of dance, music and theatrical performance, that uses matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and more) as percussion instruments in their shows. The show previewed at London's Bloomsbury Theatre and premiered at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
Between 1991 and 1994, the original cast of Stomp played to capacity audiences around the world, before it opened with a new cast at the Orpheum Theatre in New York City in February 1994. An expanded version
