Balls and Brains is a one-man play written by Deon Opperman. It is a condensation of the colourful life of Frank Harris (1855-1931) [1], as adapted by Opperman.

Presented by the newly formed theatre company Independent Performance Trust in a double bill with Kaptein Popfees and the Weekend Blues at the Thabong Theatre, Civic Theatre, Johannesburg in 1997, directed by the author and starring André Odendaal as Harris.
