An amateur company, based in Cape Town in 1859, in February 1859 they performed Don Caesar de Bazan. Actresses of this company included Mrs Delmaine and Miss Delmaine and Miss Rowlands. The company disappeared off the stage, it is not clear why, although they did make a few comebacks from time to time.** After its final breakup Miss Rowlands continued to form her own temporary company.
