The original text
Based on his experiences as a child in Luckhoff, the play utilizes San and Khoisan mythology and a magic realist approach to look at the role of love in the small circle of a marriage.
Fourie submitted the text for the newly instituted Nagtegaal/KKNK-kompetisie and was the first winner of whyat became known as the Nagtegaalprys, which resulted in a sponsored production at the KKNK in 2003.
