DULIZKAYA, Lya (19**-). Russian-born actress and singer. Emigrated to Israel in 1938. Known world-wide for her interpretation of Golde in Fiddler on the Roof. She played the part in Taubie Kushlick’s 1969 production of that musical for African Consolidated Theatres at the Empire Theatre in Johannesburg. It also starred Shimon Israeli. (Tucker, 1997)
