Jan van Zyl (19**-) Actor on stage and radio.

Career

He was well-known as actor in the Western Cape. He was regularly seen in productions by K.A.T.. He was also their secretary for many years.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He had stage roles in Opdrifsels and Moeder Hanna.

He directed Die Swaweltjie is Dood in 1951 and Die Spieël for K.A.T. in 1952.

He translated the play Sit Sarel.
