A play by Deon Opperman. About politics and power, it examines the power struggle between the De Medici family and Machiavelli in Florence in the early sixteenth century .

Performance history in South Africa

First produced in 1999 at the Grahamstown Festival, directed by Deon Opperman and featuring Sandra Prinsloo, Chris van Niekerk, André Odendaal , Hannes Muller, George Moolman and Jennifer Steyn. Set design by Greg Viljoen. The same production was staged at Aardklop in 1999.

Staged at the KKNK 2000, directed by Deon Opperman, with Franz Marx, Sandra Prinsloo, Sean Else, Diaan Lawrenson, André Odendaal and Hannes Muller.
