Tobias and the Angel

Tobias and the Angel is a play by Scottish playwright James Bridie [1] (1888-1951). The play was written in 1930 and based on Bridie's experiences while he was in the medical corps during World War One (1914-1918).

Presented by the Eoan Dramatic Group in Cape Town, 1944, directed by Rosalie van der Gucht.

Produced by NTO in 1955, directed by Elizabeth Sneddon, with Frank Wise, Peter Boyce, Pieter Geldenhuys, Zoë de Villiers, Joanna Douglas, Leonard Graham, Brian Proudfoot, Jane Potgieter, Glenys Morgan.
