Izobell, Alistair (19**- ) is a South African singer, songwriter and actor.

Biography

Training

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He has appeared in a variety of musical plays, including The Buddy Holly Story, Doowah Boys and Kat and the Kings. In 1999 he was a member of the cast of Kat and the Kings at the Cort Theatre on Broadway, New York, and in the West End, London, who, as a cast, were awarded the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical [1].

Other theatre work: Langarm (Fugard Theatre; 2018), Remembering the Lux (Baxter Theatre Centre; 2015, 2016), Kaapse Stoep Stories (Baxter Theatre Centre; 2014), Just Me Net So (Baxter Theatre Centre; 2013), Radio Classics (Baxter Theatre Centre; 2012), Music alla Kaap (Grand West Arena; various years), District Six (Baxter Theatre Centre; 1987).
