1807: First performed in French, in Cape Town in 1807, in the French Theatre (Fransche Schouwburg), playing for three evenings.
1823: Performed in Dutch as De Dolzinnige, of De Gewaande Dolleman at the African Theatre on 6 October by Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense, with Celina, of Het Kind des Geheims (Pixérecourt).
