Ek Kenne Mansmens, or Oom Kolie Gee Raad (I Know a Man or, Uncle Kolie Gives Advice) a farce in three acts written by Anna M. Louw.

Originally written and broadcast as a radio play and published as Oom Kolie Gee Raad: ‘n klug in drie bedrywe by Tafelberg, 1965.

Performance history in South Africa

Adapted for the stage by the author and presented as Ek Kenne Mansmens by KRUIK in 1966 at the Hofmeyr Theatre directed by Lily-Jean Satusky (assisted by the author) starring Dorothea van Schalkwyk, Pietro Nolte, Bettie Fourie, Martin van Niekerk, Rieta Burgers, Christina Bassel, LaReine de Klerk, mostly amateur actors. Décor designed by Bill Smuts. This production was also staged in the Botha Hall in Stellenbosch on 2 and 3 March 1966.
