Training
Studied at the University of Stellenbosch, completing an Hons B.Sc in Physics and an MA in Creative Writing ("Kreatiewe Skryfkunde") in the Department of Afrikaans.
Career

A founder member of Tart en Koggel Produksies.

As producer responsible for Harmse, De Familie Wagenaer, Terre'Blanche and Willem Anker’s Skroothonde.
As actor played Eugene Terre'Blanche, a cross-dressing french singer, Hendrik Wagenaer, Gert Breekyster and “Die Dwergreus” (the “dwarf-giant”) in Neels van Jaarsveld’s Wit Sneeutjie en die Dwergreus (“White Little Snow and the Dwarf-giant”)
Awards
He was awarded the Aardklop-Smeltkroesprys in 2011 for his drama Rooiland. His play Oorsee will be seen at Aardklop in 2013.
He was awarded the Hertzog Prize for his plays Rooiland and Oorsee in 2015.
