Translations and adaptations
An Afrikaans translation and free adaptation to local circumstances of Spiel im Schloss by the Hungarian playwright. Called an "anecdote" it was set in a large hotel in Muizenberg, on the days of performance (i.e. 3 and 4 May, 1929). Produced by the Oranjeklub in the Railway Institute, Cape Town, with D.H.P. Breek, H.Rooseboom, Gideon Roos, miss C. Kotzé, Ch. Weich, J.J. Blom and H.J. Rooseboom Jnr. Directed by Jas. J. Broodryk.
