The UCT Dramatic Society is a society founded at the University of Cape Town (UCT).

History

Originally founded in the 1930s, it used the Little Theatre on the Hiddingh Campus for most of its productions. All students - not simply Drama students - were able to participate in the productions. One such member was Roy Sargeant, who went on to become a prolific theatre director and, as Head of English Drama at the SABC, TV producer.
