He appeared in Falstaff (CAPAB, 1984), Cock-Ups (CAPAB, 1985), The Fall of the House of Usher (CAPAB, 1985).
As director
For the stage, Gorlei has directed:
1983: The Big Top Tussle (UCT Drama Department)
He has directed for TV, including Isidingo and Suidooster, and the short film Dancing with Faith (which he wrote, 2017). He was also a producer on Scandal!.
As playwright
Gorlei wrote the play The Big Top Tussle (1983).
