Besides being broadcast on radio on a number of occasions, the novel has also been adapted for the stage as a one-hander.

Performance history in South Africa

1972: A stage version of the novel, performed by Katinka Heyns and directed by Truida Louw, was done in the Arena Theatre, Johannesburg, by the PACT company, as part of a double bill (with Kamer 99 by Dolf van Niekerk). Sound by George Ballot and stage management by Max Curtis.

2001 Performed by Nicole Holm, directed by Juanita Swanepoel.
