Predominantly written in isiZulu, with some English dialogue, it is a piece about Matlakala, a woman born to a drug addict, who must face the same challenges as her mother when she herself becomes a parent.

2012: Performed in the Barney Simon Theatre at the Market Theatre from 14 to 27 May., Directed by Godfrey Thobejane Khethiwe Dlamini with a large cast that included: Khethiwe Dlamini (Madlakala/singer), Shirley Mtombeni (Mrs Nqobo/Singer), Tshepiso Manhique (Ophinias/singer), Sizile Khumalo (Thokozani/singer), Sphumuzo Sidzumo (Zazi’s Father/singer), Katlego Makatu (Thandi/singer), Lesego Chabedi (Zazi/singer), Tshepiso Mokoena (prostitute/singer), Mbalenhle Grace Magubane (social worker, singer), Brian Maloka (Grandfather/singer), Ditebogo Kgotseng (police/singer), Tshepiso Mabaso (Mlomo/singer), Tsholofetso Ngobeni (singer). The play was the winner of the Market Theatre Laboratory's Zwakala Festival that year.
