An autobiographical play set in New Orleans which Williams began writing shortly after moving to New Orleans in 1938, the piece was not completed until nearly forty years later in.

Performance history in South Africa
2000: Performed by the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department in the H.B. Thom Theatre from 30 August to 2 September and 5-9 September, directed by Blaise Koch, a cast consisting of André Weideman, Colleen Triegaardt, Neels van Jaarsveld, Deon van Zyl, Tinarie van Wyk-Loots, Laura de Kock, Wilmie Bernhardt, Jackie Bojé, Adam Donelly, Johan Winckler, Matthew Bilton, Jaco Olivier and Yanou Ceulaers. The designs were by Leopold Senekal (set design), Kobus Rossouw (lighting design), Elrina Marais (wardrobe), and the technical and production crews were led by Marisa Steenkamp (technical coordinator), Sanell Rall (production manager) and Zani Nel (stage manager).
