First produced at the Comedy Theatre, London on 23 September, 1909. Published in London by Heinemann in 1913 and in Chicago by The Dramatic Publishing Company, [1913?].

Performance history in South Africa
1910: Performed by the De Jong-Black Company at the Tivoli Theatre, Cape Town, opening to great acclaim on 12 January. The cast included Herbert Ford, Augustus Wheatman, Louis du Cane, Maud Townsend and Kate Walbram.
