The White Sheep of the Family is a comedy by English author and playwright L. du Garde Peach [1] (1890-1974) and Ian Hay [2] 1876-1952.

Performance history in South Africa

1952: First produced in South Africa by Brian Brooke with his new company, performing at the Hofmeyr Hall Cape Town and in Johannesburg. He brought out the British actor Cecil Parker to star in it. Directed by John Roberts, the cast also included Petrina Fry, Diane Bester, Alfred Stretton, Yolande Turnbull, Zoë de Villiers, Lawrence Ayris, Peter Boyce, Bruce Anderson. Decor by Roy Cooke.

1955: Presented by East London Technical College Drama Club at the John Bisseker Hall, East London, produced by Elaine Shaw.
