Biography
She was born in Johannesburg to British parents, she attended the University of Cape Town for a drama course, and did some local stage work during the 1970s, before moving to the United Kingdom where she initially worked as a trainee designer for a soft furnishings company before enrolling in a training course to become a professional actor on stage, film and TV. Since 1980 she has thus forged a successful career in the UK as an actress as Diana Kent.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Diana has performed in The Tempest, Death of a Salesman (PACT as Jenny, 1975), Conspiracy (PACT 1976, as 2nd reporter), Veronica's Room at Durban's New Lyric Theatre, Grease (1977) and in The Killing of Sister George (Baxter Theatre 1979).
In the UK she appeared in two plays with South African connections, the British premiere of the Pieter-Dirk Uys play Panorama and Bitter Milk (David Clough, 1983).
On televison she played "Wendy McRae" in The Villagers and "Lucy" (?) in The Settlers (SABC TV miniseries).
