Freely adapted from the French of H. de Saint-Georges (1799-1875) and A. de Leuven (1800-1884) into English as a comedy in 3 acts called The Jeweller of St James by William E.Suter ()[]
The English text first performed 17 February, 1862 in the Opera Comique London.
1870: Performed in English as The Jeweller of St James (Suter/De St Georges and De Leuven) on 25th August: along with Matchmaking (Poole/)
