Strinivasa Moodley (Srini) (1946-). Journalist, cultural activist, writer.
Studied at the University of Durban-Westville. Became involved in theatre through his satirical sketch Black on White. One of the founding members of TECON in 1969.
Natal Regional Chairman of AZAPO, president of SABTU (1972-73). Banned in March 1973, detained in 1974 and sentenced to six years imprisonment. On his release in 1981 he returned to journalism, working for papers such as the The Natal Witness.
Husband of Sam Moodley.
