Moagi Modise (19**- ) is a South African actor, playwright and director.

Biography

Kimberley-born Emmy Award winning actor/playwright.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He is best known for his television roles as Budgets Naledi in the SABC2 series Stokvel and as Makubela in the SABC3 series The Lab.

He wrote the plays Lepatata, Phokwane Chronicles, A Season of Locusts.

Stage roles include appearances in The Dream (Martin Koboekae), Vonke uit Vuurklip, The Bush Tale (2001).

In 2011 he was based at the South African State Theatre in Pretoria wher he acted in Athol Fugard's play, My Children, My Africa and in Aubrey Sekhabi's stage production, Rivonia Trial.
