Sybrand die Watermaker (“Sybrand the water maker”) by Eugène Terre'Blanche.

A play about a farmer in the Kalahari who bores for water for other farmers, but is unable to find water on his own farm. When he does, using dynamite, he dies in an accident.

Published in Iewers Langs die Pad by Van Schaik. One-act. Cast: mixed.

First play performed by Ceres Amateur Toneelvereniging in 1974.
