1960: Produced by the National Theatre Organisation in Afrikaans as Romeo en Jeanette, performed by NTO Kamertoneel in the Bellville Civic Theatre from 10 to 17 February. Directed by Suzanne van Wyk, with Joey de Koker, Babs Laker, Ria Olivier, Laurie van der Merwe and Robert Mohr. Decor by Frank Graves, costumes by Doreen Graves.
1963: Produced in English, as Romeo and Jeanette, by PACT in Pretoria. Directed by Richard Daneel with Fiona Fraser, Bess Finney, Arthur Hall, Siegfried Mynhardt and others.
