Training
Career
She has been actively involved in South African Theatre since before the days of the National Theatre. She has worked for virtually every theatre management in South Africa and has acted with CAPAB since its inception.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Acted in numerous productions, often for Leonard Schach (between 1951 and 1964), notably Point of Departure (1952), Lady Windermere’s Fan (1952), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1956), The Miracle Worker (1961) and After the Fall (1964). Other productions include The Father, The Way of the World, Enter a Free Man, Habeas Corpus, "Sister Godric" in Abelard and Heloise and "the Nurse" in Romeo and Juliet, The Seven Ages, The Chalk Garden (1968).
