The play won the Aardklop-Smeltkroesprys in 2011, four KykNET Fiestas in 2012 and five Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards in March 2013.

The author was awarded the Hertzog Prize for Drama for this play and for Oorsee in 2015.

Performance history in South Africa

Directed by Jaco Bouwer at the Aardklop Festival in 2011, with Brendan Daniels as Adidas, earning him a Best Actor award. KKNK 2012.
