A 1969 play by Robin Maugham. Set in the Western Desert during World War II, describing a kind of camaraderie that exists between a young British trooper and a German gunner who find themselves thrown together and fighting for survival. Published in in "Plays Of The Year Vol.39", Elek, London (Plays & Players, March 1970).

Directed and designed by Donald Howarth at The Space Theatre from 23 August 1972. Cast: Bill Flynn, Bob Kirsner, Alex Petersen, Paul Slabolepszy, Michael Swinton. Lighting Brian Astbury, sound Alastair Johnstone, stage manager Bee Berman.

Presented by PACT Drama in the Arena Theatre in 1973, directed by John Hussey, starring Nigel Vermaas, Eckard Rabe, Richard Haines.
