A star player for the youth company Kunst en Smaak, he performed to acclaim in Aballino Junior, of De Kleine Bandiet (as "Aballino") and Monsieur Tonson (as "M. Morbleu") on 21 November 1835.
Also mentioned as one of the leaders of the resuscitated Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst (1849-1855).
