Training
Graduated from the Rand Afrikaans University in 1996 (BA Communications).
Career
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Made a name for himself in TV as Bart in the hugely popular Afrikaans soap-opera Sewende Laan (Seventh Aveue). His film and television credits include lead characters in productions Meesters, Konings, Carpe Diem, Soutmansland. He has produced and directed a short film entitled Entre Nous. He has received acclaim as a writer with theatre productions Noir and Vincent, which he also produced and performed in, for the National Arts Festival. He appeared as Gene in Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight (2000).
In Saturday Night at the Palace as Vince, directed by Bobby Heaney, Baxter Theatre, January 2004, with Grant Swanby and Sizwe Msutu.
In Faan se Trein with Tinarie van Wyk Loots, directed by Albert Maritz in the Bellville Civic Centre, 2006.
In Hedda Gabler, KKNK and Aardklop 2006.
