A tragedy by Vladimir Gubaryev that dramatizes the plight of radiation victims from the Chernobyl disaster in Russia. Published by Vintage Books, and by Penguin Books in the series Penguin Plays and Screenplays, 1987.
Performance history in South Africa
Presented by Pieter Toerien in 1988, directed by Terrence Shank. The cast included Jeremy Crutchley, Gillian Garlick, Ian Steadman, Margaret Heale, Ted le Plat, John Whitley, David Butler and a large company. There were performances in the André Huguenet Theatre, Baxter Theatre and at the Grahamstown Festival.
